We live an hour away from Traverse City, Michigan, but we’ve been there only a handful of times because both of our kids were absolutelyterribleawful in the car as babies. I’d go months on end without leaving town so we didn’t have to endure the torturous rides. Seriously, it was awful.
I adore Traverse City and every time we go it feels like a mini-vacation. This weekend my car had a little well-visit checkup there, and we decided to make a day of it, and we finally made it to Nature & Me RV! We stepped in some real-live 2017 Airstreams! Sweeeeeet!
The 2017 Airstream Basecamp. OK – this thing is pretty sweet. It’s super compact, yet it has a bathroom and adorable little kitchen in it. While we’d be pretty crammed in this thing as a family of four, it comes with two tents for additional space. I like the concept of tent+trailer camping, but since we spent 7 years living in tiny boats, I think we’d feel like this was too small in the end. Really, I think our current tent has a larger interior than the Basecamp + 2 tents that come with it!
But isn’t it so damn cute?
The T@G trailer – the perfect size for our sweet little Lila, don’t you think?
If you’re ever in Traverse City and get a hankerin’ to own a Vespa, Nature & Me RV is the place to get one.
Look at all those Airstreams! It was definitely some good motivation for us to keep on truckin’ with our Argosy!
Are you a new Airstream owner? Have you considered starting a blog to share your journey with others? Maybe you’re in the midst of a huge renovation and want to teach others how to DIY, or you dream of someday traveling the world in your Airstream.
We started Airstream Love with the intention of sharing our story with others, learning about other people’s stories, and teaching people how to monetize a blog. Many people are funding their entire lives through blog monetization alone. I’ll be honest – we’re not experts. In fact, we’re just beginning, but we’ve been (slowly) making money from the second day this site went live which I was able to do because I set up my site with Bluehost and WordPress (you can read about that here.)
While I love reading about the people who are making millions from their blogs, I wanted to show people what it’s like to start from square one in 2016.
